New Accounts: How do I open an account with Sentry Dental Lab?
Opening a new account with Sentry Dental Lab is simple. Download the prescription form found on the “Print RXS” tab. Complete the document and sign. Then call us at (480) 610-1800 so we can help you with your shipping options, including scheduling a local pickup. Also, ask us about setting up your own free login for LabStar lab management software which allows you to request pickups, see case progress, and pay invoices or statements!

Required working time: How many in-lab days are required to make my crowns, bridges and implants?
Each case requires 5 in-lab working days. This allows us to craft a restoration that you are proud to present to your patient. Also remember that it may take 1 to 2 days for shipping to our out-of-state customers, so please add these to the delivery date. Some crowns like Lava®, Procera®, and Implant cases may take longer and will require varied in-lab days on a case-by-case basis.

We are also able to rush cases in less than 5 days for added fees, if desired.

Payment Terms: When is my payment due?
All statements must be paid in full by the last day of the month in which the statement is prepared. A “Payment Agreement” must be completed prior to work authorization. By signing a RX and/or sending cases to Sentry Dental Lab, you are agreeing to the payment terms and policies. Late payments will incur a 2% finance charge.

Implants: Can Sentry Dental Lab do implants and supply me with all of my implant parts?
Sentry Dental Lab does have a relationship with all major implants manufactures including: BioHorizons, Biomet 3i, Nobel Biocare, Implant Direct, Straumann, and Zimmer.

When does Sentry Dental Lab need a stump shade?
We need a stump shade for all porcelain restorations. This way we can adjust the color according to what is showing through the ceramic.

Does Sentry Dental Lab charge for remakes?
We do not like remakes any better than you or your patients. Therefore, we strive to not have them and for the most part rarely do. On the occasion that a case does need to be returned back to us, we take it seriously by researching where the problem was, who is responsible, and how it can be quickly remedied. Once all this has been determined, it is “fixed” or remade, and charged or not charged accordingly. All remakes are determined on a case by case basis.

Are you able to take custom shades at your laboratory?
Yes. We have a beautiful & welcoming environment for your patients to attend. They can expect to spend around 30 minutes with one of our ceramics technicians who will ensure that an accurate shade is taken and that any queries are answered. The patient experience will be such that they’ll simply view us as an extension of your team.
